Another busy week in Parliament as a Government Whip.
This week, we delivered an additional tax cut for residents in Beaconsfield, Marlow, and the South Bucks villages - putting an average of ยฃ450 per year back into the pockets of working people.
Today, on #WorldBookDay, let's celebrate the transformative power of reading! As an avid reader myself, I truly believe that books have the ability to change lives and open doors to new worlds.
Every child and young person deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of reading.
Here's a quick round up of some of what I was up to as your MP in February:
๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐: It was great to meet with Burnham Health Centre and Marlow Medical Group last month. I am committed to working with GPs and residents to improve local health care.
I have been campaigning for a secondary school in Burnham since I was elected and have regularly raised the issue with Ministers and the local council. The case for the school is getting stronger.
