Today a Westminster Hall debate was held on the petition 'Stop work on HS2 immediately and hold a new vote to repeal the legislation'.

The debate was very heavily oversubscribed but Joy Morrissey MP was able to intervene and highlight the environmental impact on the Beaconsfield constituency, in particular on the ancient woodlands and aquifer in the Denham Country Park and Colne Valley.

It's important that we keep raising our concerns and make sure High Speed Two Limited (HS2 Ltd) is held to account. 🏞🚄✋
