Great news for commuters in Beaconsfield, Marlow and the South Bucks villages!
Chiltern Railways’ bid for new trains has now been secured. I was pleased to support the bid in writing to the Secretary of State for Transport.
From early next year, the new fleet will be introduced in phases — delivering more reliable journeys into London and greater capacity across the line.
I will continue to champion better transport links for our area.
