I know local residents are concerned about this development so I wanted to provide a short update on whatโs next as we come closer to the Planning Inspectorateโs decision.

We're still waiting for a formal recommendation from the Planning Inspectorate following this yearโs public inquiry. Once thatโs received, the final decision will rest with the Secretary of State, Angela Rayner.
Since the change in government, I know many of you have written directly to the Secretary of State, making your voices heard and expressing serious concerns about this development. Iโve also been raising these concerns in Westminsterโand I will continue to do so until the very end.
