Great Women of Beaconsfield on International Women's Day

Monday, 8 March, 2021
IWD

On International Women's Day I want to highlight some of the amazing women in my constituency who have gone above and beyond the call of duty during the pandemic. As Her Majesty The Queen has recently pointed out, a "selfless dedication to duty" is the most remarkable and worthy quality. These are women who, in the direst circumstances, embraced that sense of duty and looked to their communities to see what they could do to help. The only way we can make it through years like the last is by the extraordinary work of dedicated, hard working and selfless people. Thank you to you all:

Wendy Matthews from Iver

Anita Cranmer from Beaconsfield

Kirsty Griffiths from Flackwell Heath

Jocelyn Towns from Marlow

Dr Sue Lynch from Stoke Poges

Paula Prince from Burnham

Jenny Wishney from Gerrards Cross

Janice Barlow from Denham
