As your MP, I am committed to addressing the growing and concerning issue of spiking, a crime that affects many individuals across the UK. To better understand its impacts, I have launched a survey to gather insights from those who have been directly affected by this distressing crime.
The survey is designed to explore how the NHS responds to and supports individuals who have been spiked, ensuring they receive the necessary medical care and assistance. It also seeks to understand public expectations regarding the NHS’s role, as well as personal experiences with the healthcare system in relation to spiking. Furthermore, the survey aims to assess how the NHS’s response can support future police investigations and identify opportunities for improvement in both law enforcement practices and victim support.
I strongly encourage everyone to take part in the survey, particularly those who have experienced spiking or know someone who has. Your input is invaluable in helping to shape policies and initiatives that will better protect victims, improve healthcare responses, and strengthen the fight against this crime.
